ICOMSA 2024 Opening Ceremony – The Pacific Sutera Hotel

 

The opening ceremony will take place at the esteemed Pacific Sutera Hotel's Grand Ballroom. Renowned for its excellence, the hotel has garnered several accolades, including the title of Best Rooftop Restaurant in Sabah for 2022. Additionally, it has been honored with the ASEAN Mice Venue Standard in the Meeting Room category, recognizing its exceptional meeting facilities in 2020 and 2022, presented by the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MYCEB).

 

Registration booths for ICOMSA 2024 will be open from 7:30 – 10:30 am at the entrance of the Grand Ballroom. From 11:00 am onwards, registration can be made at Sutera Harbour Marina.

ICOMSA 2024 Main Venue – Sutera Harbour Marina

  

Following the Opening Ceremony, participants will embark on a short stroll along the Marina to reach the main conference venue in the Theatre and Chart Room of Sutera Harbour Marina. Alternatively, transportation will be provided for those preferring a shuttle service.

 

Sutera Harbour Marina serves as a premier hub for yachting and sailing in Southeast Asia. Offering year-round protection from extreme weather conditions, since its establishment in 1998, the marina's seawall and pontoons have fostered a unique habitat for marine life.

Theatre and Chart Room

 

The Theatre and Chart Room are located on Level 3 of the Sutera Harbour Marina. Upon entering the marina from the main entrance (Level 2), our committee members will be ready to greet you and guide you to Level 3, where the oral and poster presentations will be held.

 

 

Poster Area

​

Poster presentations will be held in the Foyer on Level 3 of the Sutera Harbour Marina, adjacent to the Theatre and Chart Room.  The poster session will officially commence on the first day of the conference, but the displays will be accessible throughout the entire duration of the conference.

Exhibition Booths

​

Exhibitions will be held throughout the entire duration of the conference in the exhibition area, located in the Foyer on Level 3 of the Sutera Harbour Marina adjacent to the Poster Area and next to Spice Island, the venue for the tea breaks.

Participants may park their vehicles at the parking floor of the Sutera Harbour Marina.
